Amarillo spent 5 months in professional training with Diamond K (Kevin Raber) in 2024. He is here for a tune up and to find his person.
Amarillo is best suited for Ranch Versatility and Mountain Trail type events and is not a cutting style horse.... (read more) He’s got great movement and is showing potential to be a show horse. He has also had extensive obstacle training and is very easy to introduce new obstacles.
Amarillo has a very smooth and slow easy lope that is very comfortable to ride. He will have enough stamina to trail ride or show all day when he is in shape. He’s still filling out and should be very stout when he’s done growing.
He’s only had limited hauling and exposure to trails but with some practice he should do well in that area.
