Witten Creek Pocketful of Posies! Posey was born 3/29/25. Her dam is our 18+ hh registered Percheron mare, Garrels Ruby Rose. Her sire is a double registered Appaloosa/Colorado Rangerbred Horse, Reagles Fair Pride, homozygous for Leopard and PATN1. Posey has been color tested, by UC Davis. She is LP/lp, n/PATN1, EE, Aa, with no other white markers. Posey currently has snowflakes on her rump and a dark spot on her belly. According to her genetics, she is a leopard, it’s just going to have to reveal itself as she sheds.... (read more) Posey is already a chunk, with great bone structure and a wonderful disposition. We expect her to easily mature to 16 hh or more.
Posey will be registered and DNA verified with the Percheron Crossbred Association. She is microchipped with a Temp-Scan chip. Before leaving here, Posey will have been through our foal program, being introduced to a variety of things, balls, tarps, a pedestal, inflatables, four wheeler, and whatever else I come up with. She will be leading, standing tied, add loading in both ramped and step-up trailers. Posey will be current with vaxx, deworming and farrier.
We ask for 20% down payment, with a purchase agreement, to hold your foal until pickup. Regular payments are welcome, but not required, but of course, payment in full is required before the foal leaves here. This year pickup is expected to be in mid October.
We have babies from coast to coast, and border to border. References are available. Please visit our FB page @ Witten Creek Farm Friesian Sporthorse Foals to see the latest videos or pictures, or visit our webpage @ visit our website to see our mares and stallion.

Raising quality Friesian cross horses. Our brood mares are selected for not only their conformation and bloodlines, but their attitudes as well. All are quiet, gentle and a pleasure to be around. You can be certain when you get one of our babies, that it has already been tested and verified.... (read more) We strive to produce calm, quiet and loving foals, that will be a true pleasure to work with. Daily handling and exposure to a variety of items help them get started right. We try to have each baby not only halter broke, standing for farrier, and loading in a trailer, wearing a pad and surcingle, as well as crossing cavelliti, crossing a tarp, and standing on and crossing a pedestal, We try to teach them to think about things and to trust their human partners.
Our stallion, Vorn MFF is a son of Doaitsen 420, the USEF Friesian sire of the year for 2016, 2017, and 2018. Vorn's mother is a crown mare by Beart 411, the two time driving champion of the Netherlands. Vorn rides and drives. Vorn is also hydro and dwarfism free and five panel negative.. His first foals are on the ground and exceeding all expectations. We have sold babies from coast to coast. Vorn’s get are all very people oriented, athletic and very intelligent. They are easy to work with, and for the most part, very quiet natured.
