Hidalgo is a beautiful chestnut tobiano gelding that is well built, standing around 15hh and he is 5 years old! Hidalgo was raised and trained by one of the best young trainers around. He is very friendly, loves attention and has learned everything the correct way.... (read more) Hidalgo has done some natural horsemanship training and he knows some tricks as well. He will lay down on command and enjoys nothing better than taking a nap with his best friend. Hidalgo lopes nice circles, catches the correct leads and has a good stop. Hidalgo just eases along down the trail and loves going on trail rides. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Hidalgo has been ridden down the highways and is traffic safe as well. He has been used around the ranch, he has sorted, penned and pasture roped.
