Meet Strawberry! Strawberry is a sweet grade mare in her late teens, standing tall at 15.3-16 hands.

Strawberry is a tall, forward, and fun grade chestnut mare in her late teens looking for a new partner.

She recently returned to us through no fault of her own—her previous owner loved her but couldn’t keep up with training or regular handling due to life circumstances. ? Rides English and Western
? Enjoys ranch riding and games (barrels, poles, etc.)
? Walk/trot/canter under saddle
? Not a jumper (12” poles max, prefers to knock them down!)
? Barefoot, up-to-date on all shots, current Coggins
? Best suited for an intermediate rider with confidence and consistency

Previously shown by multiple 4-H youth at a busy fairground in ranch and game classes, and has gone on trail rides and done basic dressage (Training Level patterns).

She will need a refresher on ground manners and standing tied but has a good brain and sweet nature once in a routine.

Last year, before being sold, she participated in a fun show at a busy fairground, showing in barrels, poles, keyhole, horsemanship, and ranch riding with three 4H youth (one of whom had never ridden her before!).
Has learned English riding this past year, can do a training level dressage pattern.
Prefers not to jump over 12” cross rails, making her unsuitable for our intermediate jumping lessons. She just doesn't see the point of lifting her legs that high when she can just play bowling with the poles.

Strawberry is best suited for a confident, advanced beginner or intermediate rider looking for a fun and forward horse for fun days, 4H and trail riding. Located near Fargo, ND, 15 min from the airport. We can help with arranging shipping.
